Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali Actress Rutuja Sawant: 'People Have Misconceptions That Actors Are Not Well Educated'- EXCLUSIVE
Actor Rutuja Sawant is currently playing the character of Mansi in the show Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali. She is a computer engineer turned actor and debuted in the industry with the show Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali on Star Plus. The pretty actress has also done a Telugu movie, which is set to release soon.

Talking about the journey she says, "My journey is as smooth as a flowing water in the river. I wanted to be an actor but I was always focused on making a corporate career. I had no connections with the industry so after I completed engineering, I always wanted to work for an MNC as I was very much interested in coding. Life took a turn when I was offered a telugu movie. And that was the time I realized that acting is my cup of tea. I know there will be struggles but I will be enjoying the same." She further added, "I believe that many people have misconceptions that actors are not well educated but there are many actors like Vicky Kaushal, Tapsee Pannu, John Abrahanma and others who have proved this preconceived notion to be wrong. Acting is just like any other profession and people should learn to respect it." Lastly on being asked about how her first stint on television has been working in her favor, Rutuja said, "I am enjoying the transition of my character- Mansi, from being way too positive to a very negative zone, consisting of planning and plotting. So it's helping me to hone my skills as an actor. And at the same time I am getting to learn a lot from experienced actors, directors and the crew around me."
