With the finale inching closer, the top 6 contestants of the seventh season of MasterChef India, Aruna Vijay, Gurkirat Singh Grover, Kamaldeep Kaur, Nayanjyoti Saikia, Santa Pawan Sharma and Suvarna Bagul, are all set to battle it out so that they could win the Golden Chef’s Jacket and Trophy. Judged by renowned chefs Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora, the show will see the contestants going through an intense battle to make it to the top 3.

According to a report by ETimes, the chef Saransh Goila will start off the challenging finale week by unveiling a ‘100-step pressure test.’ The home cooks will have to create ‘Safarnama,’ his signature dish that is a perfect amalgamation of flavours from across the country. Taking the challenges a step ahead, next will be a 'Great Vendors of India Cook Along.' In the test, the home cooks will be asked to match the pace with their judges, who will not only be instructing the contestants but also cooking alongside them. Going through such difficult tests, top 3 contestants will be chosen for the much-awaited finale. It would certainly be exciting to watch the home cooks put in all the efforts from the past 13 weeks. Renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor will be joining the grand finale episode of the cooking-based reality show. He will be judging the top 3 finalists in the “signature three-course meal challenge.” For the unversed, the challenge will be the ultimate test of the ultimate chef for the ultimate prize. 

Ever since its release, the show has been a talking point on social media. The netizens on various occasions have called out the makers of the show for showing blatant favouritism towards specific contestants. It all started when the judges allowed Priya Arun, a vegetarian homecook, to substitute her protein to paneer in a fish-based dish.  For the unversed, MasterChef is one of the most loved cooking shows on television. Apart from India, it also has a UK version, Australian version, Asian version and many other adaptations world-wide.
