MasterChef India season 7 is currently in its finale week. The contestants have been going through different tasks everyday to prove their mettle and win the trophy. Apart from the interesting dishes and talented home cooks from different parts of India, the show has been making the headlines for their blatant favouritism towards certain contestants. The cooking-based reality show is yet again in the news as during a recent episode, chef Ranveer Brar was seen complementing Aruna Vijay’s simple dish and plating.

In the recent episode, the contestants were given a taste challenge, where they had to cook dishes that perfectly balanced out all the flavours. Not only was chef Ranveer Brar seen helping Aruna to make her dish by giving her tips, he went on to heap praises on her cooking and plating skills, which was one of the simplest from all the other dishes. Pointing out the same, one netizen wrote, “This is Aruna's finale week plating of her supposedly innovative ugadi pachchadi in papdi chaat concept dish. Ranveer Brar n co should be embarrassed of getting this woman this far.”

Aruna has been the talk of the town, eversince the judges had allowed her to cook a fish-based dish with paneer, just because she was a vegetarian. Ever since, the netizens have been scrutinising the show and nitpicking the biasness. Currently the show has six contestants - Kamaldeep Kaur, Aruna Vijay, Nayanjyoti Saikia, Santa Sarmah, Suvarna Bagul and Gurkirat Singh, who will be competing for the title of MasterChef India season 7.
