Madhavi Gogate Passes Away At 58, Anupamaa Actress Rupali Ganguly Mourns The Loss
Anupamaa actress Madhavi Gogate breathed her last on November 21, Rupali Ganguly remembers her co-star
Actress Madhavi Gogate no more, the actress was seen in popular TV show Anupamaa. She played Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly’s) on-screen mother on the show. The actress passed away on November 21 at age of 58. She reportedly breathed her last at Seven Hills hospital in Mumbai. Also, it was reported she was tested positive for COVID-19. There were reports of the senior actress being hospitalised and recovering. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated and she collapsed on November 21 afternoon. The news of her death was confirmed by her Anupamaa co-star Alpana Buch.
Mourning her death, Rupali Ganguly shared a picture on her INSTA Stories, with the text, “So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji. The late actress’ friend Neelu Kohli also mourning her death penned in the Instagram note, “Madhavi Gogate my dear friend nooooo.I can't get down to believing that you have left us .Heartbroken @gogatemadhavi you were too young to go.Damn Covid P.S:I wish I had picked up that damn phone and spoken to you when you did not reply to my msg.All I can do is regret now.”
Besides this popular TV show, she featured in TV shows such as Koi Apna Sa, Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Kahin Toh Hoga, etc. She marked her debut in the Marathi TV industry in recent times. She was seen in TV show, Tuza Maza Jamtay. Her claim to fame was the Marathi film Ghanchakkar co-starring Ashok Saraf, released in 1990.
She was also seen in plays such as Bhramacha Bhopala and Gela Madhav Kunikade.
