Since March 19, 2020, all TV and films shoots were stalled until further notice by the government in the wake of the pandemic in the country, in order to curb the rapid spread of the Novel Coronavirus. As TV shows were to resume shooting from yesterday, a press release calling off shoots was issued by FWICE and CINTAA in concerns related to the safety of the cast and crew and lots more. After FWICE and CINTAA called off yesterday, according to reports, actress Kamya Panjabi’s TV show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi restart work in Naigaon.

Even after the shoots of TV shows were called off by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), the shoots of two TV shows Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi and actress Kamya Panjabi’s Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki resumed yesterday. Now, in an interview with BT, the producer of the TV shows, Pawan Kumar reveals that the shoots were started only after all necessary precautions regarding the safety of the cast and crew were taken.

Talking about starting the shooting of the TV shows, Pawan Kumar said, “Yes, we have started shooting, as we have the necessary permission from Maharashtra government. We are taking all the necessary steps for the safety of our team. It is important that our staff, especially those on daily wages, get to earn their livelihood. We are sanitising the set every hour and taking all precautions.”






Meanwhile, as the producer of the shows Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi assures that safety precautions are taken to ensure everyone is fine, in Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi lead actress Aparna Dixit mentioned that a very few people are present on the set and other’s come only when required. The actress revealed that everyone is wearing masks and temperatures are being checked regularly. Dixit also shared that she carried her personal make-up kit at work as there was only one hairstylist and make-up person available on sets.
