The news of Kushal Punjabi’s death has saddened the entire industry. Now, Akshay Kumar who worked with him in the film Andaaz (2003) has also expressed grief over his shocking suicide
It hasn’t exactly been a good morning because we woke up to the shocking news of TV actor Kushal Punjabi committing suicide. The 43-year-old took the huge step by hanging himself at his Bandra flat. He is survived by his wife Audrey Dolhen and son Kian.
The whole industry has been mourning over his loss. Even Akshay Kumar expressed grief during a media interaction. The actor said, “Kushal worked with me in one film (Andaaz- 2003). Everybody has their own things. Some are lucky to understand, but unfortunately some don’t. Always remember that your family matters. Be brave enough to face the problem as it's a beautiful life. Your mother and father gave you this beautiful life. Just work on it but deal with your depression too.”
Some time back, we even spoke to Kushal’s co-stars, friends Aalisha Panwar and Bakhtiyaar Irani who were devastated by the news. It was his close friend Chetan Hansraj who was the first one to see his body last night. His ex-girlfriend Meghna Naidu is also extremely upset by news of his shocking suicide and expressed grief as she spoke exclusively to SpotboyE.com.
While the real cause of his suicide isn’t known, we brought you an update from DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya about a suicide note that was found at the place of his death, but he hasn’t blamed anyone in it.
Next, we even told you that there were cracks in his married life and his wife Audrey along with their son Kian stayed separately. The funeral is planned for tomorrow and tonight, Audrey will fly down from France to India.
