Television’s one of the most adorable couples – Amruta Khanvilkar and Himanshu Malhotra – leaves no chance to send major relationship goals whenever they put up a picture together on social media. The couple, who got hitched for life on January 24, 2015, has won the prestigious title of Nach Baliye season 7. But like every other normal couple, there have been ups and downs in their married life too. A few days back , the Raazi actress was in news for unfollowing her husband Himanshu on social media and headlines of their relationship hitting the rock bottom made to the web.
During a recent interview with Time Of India, when Amruta was asked about the same she denied the reports of any trouble in their paradise and said she unfollowed him in the heat of the moment. Speaking about what led to her action of blocking her. She started saying, “Himanshu was shooting out of town for many months and I was missing him. One night, I wanted to have a long conversation with him, but he kept reminding me that he had to sleep early for a 5am shoot. As a person, I am not very expressive and so, I could not tell him that I missed him. Eventually, we ended up fighting and he hung up on me. I was so upset, I blocked his number in the heat of the moment and unfollowed him on social media.”
She further added, “I realised how childish I was, when I unblocked his number the next morning. Himanshu said that he kept calling me the entire night, but could not get through. It was a spur-of-the-moment act and I didn’t realise that it would lead to speculations about trouble in our marriage.”
Amruta calls her husband Himanshu the saner on among them. She added that they have been married for five years and all the credit for keeping their marriage intact goes to her husband. “He is the one who adds balance to our crazy lives. Not just personal life, he takes a keen interest in my career, too,” she concluded. (ALSO READ: Enjoy Celebrity Cooking Time With Amruta Khanvilkar And Her Mommy)
