The economy has taken a hit, and the economically weaker sections of the society are struggling. Many have been rendered jobless and are struggling for food and shelter amid lockdown. While buses and trains have been arranged now, many migrant labourers are also walking kilometers on end desperate to reach their villages. Fir actress Kavita Kaushik has now reacted to a video of a worker going viral on social media.
Kavita Kaushik shared a video that shows a starving worker sitting by the roadside eating meat of a dead animal. The person who originally recorded the video can be seen telling the worker to go and sit ahead, so he can give some food. He then talks to another man and asks why the worker was eating roadkill, and whether he doesn’t have any food to eat. They then give out some food to the worker, and insist that if people see something like this, they should also try and help them.
