Kapil Sharma Lands In Legal Trouble, CASE Filed Against Comedian For Breaching North America Tour Contract-Report
Going by the latest reports, legal troubles seem to be pouring in for ace comedian Kapil Sharma. A case has been filed against him for breaching the 2015 North America tour contract. Reportedly, Kapil was paid for six shows but he performed only five and promised to pay for the loss. The lawsuit was filed by Sai USA Inc, accusing that the comedian disappear and did not even respond after not doing the sixth show.

Led by Amit Jaitly, Sai USA Inc took to Twitter to share a post in this regard and wrote, “SAI USA INC FILES THE LAWSUIT AGAINST KAPIL SHARMA FOR Breach of contract in 2015." Times of India reported that Kapil failed to fulfill his commitment to pay for the loss. Amit was quoted as saying, “He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.” Reportedly, the case is pending in a New York court and that Sai USA Inc will 'definitely take legal action against him. Meanwhile, Kapil and his team including Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Krushna Abhishek, and Chandan Prabhakar are touring the US for gigs. His first show was held in Vancouver on June 25 where he paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala and KK. They also performed in Vancouver and Toronto. The comedian has been sharing glimpses from his international tour on his social media handles. A few days ago, he posted a video of himself where he flaunted his English skills and joked that his team member didn't know the language. The post was captioned, “Too much English in #toronto #canada #kslive #kslive2022 #happycanadaday ps:- watch till the end.” 

Ahead of his tour for his show 'Kapil Sharma Live', the stand-up comedian bid adieu to his popular chat show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, and its last episode was aired on June 5. The following season will return after Kapil and his team wraps up their tour.
