Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum: Karan V Grover Reveals SUPERVIRUS Track Was Ideated In Dec; Says ‘Didn’t Know Coronavirus Will Reach India’
Last seen and much adored by fans as Dr. Rohit Sippy in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Karan V Grover has been trying his best to keep himself occupied while at home during the lockdown. On the other hand, the show Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum went off-air recently before the 21 days of Lockdown in the country began. As KHKT featured episodes based on a Supervirus related to the current pandemic, actor Karan V Grover reveals how the Supervirus track on the show was ideated in December before things everything related to the Coronavirus outbreak worsened in India.

Talking about introducing the supervirus scene in KHKT, in an interview with the Times of India, Karan V Grover mentioned how it was all quite a coincidence. The actor shared how he along with the cast were discussing the track with Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum writer Sandiip Sikcand when the virus started spreading in Wuhan, China. The actor said, “When the virus started spreading in Wuhan, we were discussing the track.”

Karan V Grover also explained how Sikcand came up with the idea that the show should have 15 episodes with the supervirus track. The KHKT actor said, “Sandiip sir came up with the idea that we should do 15 episodes with the track. And Rohit being a doctor, finds a cure to it.” Karan then went on to add, “So a lot of research went into it. We didn’t know at that time that it will reach our country like this.” During the interview, Karan went on to explain that when the supervirus track whose idea was drawn from the COVID-19 virus spreading in China was ideated in December, the cast and crew had no clue that the deadly virus will reach India.


Meanwhile, sharing about how he is spending his time in self-isolation during the lockdown, Karan V Grover mentioned he has learned to make Poha, does household chores and practices a lot of yoga. Talking about KHKT’s sudden off-air announcement and management, Karan spoke about how he didn’t get time to think or plan as the show ended on 14th and from 15th lockdown started.
