Jennifer Winget: I Don't Know Why A Lovely, Casual Gesture By Bipasha Basu Was Turned Into Some Sort Of An Investigation

Jennifer Winget who essays the role of Maya in Beyhadh, made headlines days ago when Bipasha Basu liked and unliked her birthday video. In fact, yesterday, SpotboyE.com told you that even her ex-husband Karan Singh Grover, liked and unliked one of her pictures that she posted three days ago.

Jennifer in an interview with a leading daily, when asked about the incident she said: “I don't know why a lovely, casual gesture by her became headlines and was turned into some sort of an investigation. I don't think it was fair to write so much about it."

She further went on to say, "Fortunately or unfortunately, we are connected in some way. I can't say what made her unlike it later. All I can say is, we have moved on way beyond and are in a better space now. So, let things be."

The actress even said that she wouldn’t be uncomfortable talking to Bipasha or Karan at an event. Karan in an interview with a film magazine had said marrying Jennifer was a mistake. Here’s what she had to say about her ex-husband’s statement: “Well, that is his opinion and he is entitled to it. I won't call our marriage a mistake, though. I don't regret it because it was a choice I made. Waise, I don't regret anything that has happened in my life.”

Jennifer even revealed that she is no longer in touch with her former in-laws. When asked if she would want to remarry an actor again, Jennifer said: “I want to marry a good person, not his profession. If the person is good, the profession doesn't matter. I hold honesty, simplicity and genuineness above everything.”

Last year in an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, Jennifer was asked if her failed marriage made her wary of men. She said: “Arre, nahin yaar. I don’t live in the past. I love my life right now. I know my future is beautiful. The fear of death shouldn’t stop you from living.”
