Meanwhile, where stars remained connected and continue to do via social media platforms with their fans, TV actor Ravi Dubey feels it an addiction and has decided to completely cut ties with it.  Explaining how social media is like liquor and people glued to it are like alcoholic individuals who can't resist. Hence the feeling of disconnecting from the social media platforms comes on his mind every single day. The actor in conversation with the news agency,IANS was heard speaking his mind out on this topic. 

He said, “I feel every day that I have to disconnect from the social media world. Jaise ek sharabi ko sharab ki aadat lag jaati hai waise hi ab yeh social media ki kharab aadat lag chuki hai (I am addicted to social media just as an alcoholic is addicted to booze).” Also Jamai Raja actor feels social media cuts down on this productivity and hence he tries his level best to spend as much as less time on social media. 

“Also, I feel I am least productive when I am on social media. The social media time reduces my productivity. I am trying to spend less time on social media now,” he added further.


However, terming it as evil, he feels the social media world has become a necessity now. “I have the intention to completely disconnect from the social media world, but it's become a necessary evil now,” said Ravi. During the lockdown Ravi along with his wife Sargun Mehta featured in a music video, titled Toxic by Badshah and Payal Dev. Ravi said, “From Musafir and Anand to Gudi and Bawarchi, I have watched almost each and every film of Hrishikesh Mukherjee during the lockdown. His films made me realise the simplicity of moviemaking.
