Chandni said, "I got to know about Jagesh Ji's demise and I am extremely shocked. He messaged me just last month, asking if I am doing fine here and in case I need anything, I should let him know. 'I am just a call away'- he had said. On my birthday also, he had messaged. But I didn't see it as a lot of messages had come that day and unka message kahin peeche chala gaya. Yesterday, when I was checking his messages I saw he had wished me and I really felt bad that meri last time unse baat ho sakti thi agar maine usi din message dekha hota but nahi ho paayi." ALSO READ: Crime Patrol Actress Preksha Mehta Commits Suicide At Age Of 25 After Posting A Chilling Instagram Message

The actress also added, "The time that I have spent with him when I was doing Amita Ka Amit was brilliant. He was exactly like my father. I remember this one scene which I was watching from Amita Ka Amit recently and thought of messaging him. In the scene, mere bidaai ho rahi hai and he is alone, inside the house, crying. So I run and go to him, questioning if he will not bid me goodbye. And he replies, 'mujhse bye nahi bola jaayega beta.' It was such an emotional sequence for both of us that we actually cried. The tears and emotions at that moment were all natural that even after the director announced a cut, we were quite emotional."

Chandni further expressed how helpless she is feeling as she is stranded in Australia and also she could.t talk to him the last time. "I am feeling so bad that the day I thought of messaging and talking to him, I didn't do it. This has happened with me before as well where I have wanted to talk to someone but couldn't and then later regretted it. He was a gem of a person and a brilliant human being. He used to make everybody laugh and was among the best co-actors I've had. I haven't slept since the time I heard this news, I was really close to him," concluded Chandni.
