Ishq Subhan Allah's Ravi Bhatia Confirms Spilt With His Indonesian Wife Yulida; Says He Married In A Haste As They Were Expecting A Baby Out Of Wedlock
Ishq Subhan Allah actor Ravi Bhatia parts ways with his Indonesian wife Yulida Handayani after three years of marriage, also speaks about son’s custody
Jodha Akbar actor Ravi Bhatia’s marriage with Indonesian air hostess Yulida Handayani has ended as per reports in Bombay Times. The actor in conversation with the said publication, shared of marrying Yulida in haste as she was expecting their child out of wedlock, followed by the two tying the knot. When the couple tied the knot back in 2016, she was three months pregnant. He now feels marriage is a big decision, and one should give it a thorough thought.
He was quoted saying, “Yulida and I were in a relationship for a short while, but she got pregnant and we got married. When we got married, she was three months pregnant. Marriage is a big decision and it needs to be given a serious thought.” Also revealing further, without solely holding her responsible for the split, he mentioned their cultural difference being one of the reasons. Also she was unable to make friends in Mumbai with the language being the barrier.
Ishq Subhan Allah actor who met Yulida during his professional commitment said, “She’s a nice girl, but cultural differences were some of the reasons for the break-up. She could not settle down in Mumbai due to the language barrier. She did not make many friends and to an extent, that was my mistake, too. I was so busy pursuing my career that I could not give her quality time.”
Holding himself responsible for the split , he said, “She used to feel lonely and missed her family a lot. So, we both felt it was best to separate amicably and live happy lives.”
Talking about their three-year-old son’s custody, he credited his son for the bond Ravi shared with Yulida. Also confirming further, he mentioned their son will stay with his wife and he shall fulfill all the responsibilities required for his future. He said, “The best part of our relationship was our son and I miss him very much. I know she will take good care of him, so it was best that he grows up with her. Every night when I go to sleep, I feel his presence by my side. He has a bright future ahead and I will fulfill all my responsibilities that I have towards him.”
As the actor admits his marriage being a tough one, he shared some basic ground rules couples should follow for a successful marriage. He says, "Both partners should have quality time for each other. Sometimes in trying to pursue a career, one gets so busy that you forget that there is someone waiting at home for you. Continuing to share healthy friendship with Yulida he said, “Yulida and I share a healthy friendship, but I strongly feel that one should get married only after considering all points of a companionship.”
