Indian Idol 13: Kishore Kumar’s Son Amit Kumar Gets Brutally TROLLED For Praising A Contestant; Netizen Asks, ‘Inko Toh Show Fake Lga Tha’
Amit Kumar gets badly trolled for appearing on ‘Indian Idol 13’ amid his last year claims that he was asked to praise all the contestants
Last year, veteran singer Amit Kumar made headlines after he made some shocking claims against the reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’. Amit, the son of Kishore Kumar in an interview stated he did not really enjoy the special episode where the contestants gave tribute to Kishore Kumar. He even alleged that the makers told him to praise and uplift all the contestants no matter how they sing. Following his controversial statements, Amit’s participation in Indian Idol 13 has raised many eyebrows.
Amit recently graced yet another special episode dedicated to the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. And, he was left mighty impressed with the contestant Debosmita Roy’s performance as he gave her an autograph on the golden mic she received during the auditions. Debosmita, who hails from Kolkata sang the iconic song ‘Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina’ from the 1973 film Abhimaan. While showering praises on her, Amit Kumar said, “Beautifully sung. Kya awaaz hai! (What a voice) The way you felt the song and sang it was outstanding. According to me, you will be the voice of our industry soon.” ALSO READ:Indian Idol 12: Amit Kumar REACTS To Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya Facing Flak For Singing Kishore Kumar’s Songs: ‘Didn’t Enjoy The Episode At All’

I thought it will be a homage to my father. But once there, I just followed what I was asked to do. I had told them to give me portions of the script in advance, but nothing of that sort happened.” Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, and contestants back then were slammed for attempting to sing Kishore Kumar songs.
