But today, Kapil's ' close friend' wants her to be addressed as a mere co-worker (yesterday we woke up to an article that referred her as such). What a shame!

Bet you didn't know that Rajeev could not stand Preeti from Day 1, courtesy Preeti shined brighter in the professional scheme of things and Rajeev started feeling insecure. Was Luv Ranjan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety loosely inspired by the Preeti-Kapil-Rajeev story? Be honest, Luv.

As Preeti and Kapil came closer, Rajeev's planning began and his first target was to break Sunil Grover from a very happy and successful team of Comedy Nights. Does a best friend do that?  Rajeev quit the show, taking Sunil with him on Mad India. But it didn't matter to the lovely telly couple in town, they were so much in sync- on set, off set. Meanwhile, Mad India went off air right after about 10 episodes.

Sometime later, Rajeev started playing on Kapil's weak card, that is, of becoming a Bollywood star. And lo! Kapil fell for an expansive and expensive film Firangi, despite Preeti telling him that their professional commitment TKKS would be adversely affected because Kapil would invariably end up playing havoc with the show's shooting dates. But Kapil did not listen.

Next, Preeti blew her lungs out in trying to convince Kapil that he should shoot Firangi in Mumbai since then they would be at least closer to Film City where TKKS was shot- and not Punjab as Rajeev wanted. But Kapil was in no mood to listen to this either.

Preeti still holds a torch for Kapil professionally. In fact, the two of them have discussed the possibility of collaborating again. Kapil has even visited Preeti's office at Andheri. But after having a good, positive round of nascent talks more than once, hasn't reverted for the longest time.
