Hina Khan Opens Up On Her Father’s Death; Says ‘I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything Or Interacting With Anyone’
Popular television actress Hina Khan suffered a great loss last month after her father passed away. He suffered a cardiac arrest. The actress had been in Kashmir fulfilling her work commitments, and she left her shoot mid-way and rushed back to Mumbai when she found out about her father’s death. Hina was very close to her father, and she has been grieving his demise. Days after her father’s death, the actress tested positive for COVID-19. Now, in a recent interview, she opened up about how she has been dealing with his death, and said that the more she thinks about it, the more it hurts.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Hina Khan said that she isn’t in a state of mind to speak. “The more you think about it, the more it pains,” she said. Hina said that she wants to take some time, and that she will, even though some work commitments could not be postponed. “I don’t feel like doing anything or interacting with anyone. I will take time and I want to take that time, though some work commitments can't be deferred,” she said.

She also shared that her mother is heartbroken. "My parents were a wonderful couple and it’s because of them that I believe in the institution of marriage. I have seen their quarrelling, companionship and their love for each other. I have always prayed that if I have a husband, I would like to have one like my father. He was perfect in every way.”

While Hina Khan had been away from work, she went live on Instagram as her music video Patthar Wargi was releasing. She mentioned that the song’s release had been postponed at her request, however, it couldn’t have been delayed even more.

She also informed her fans in her Instagram live session that she tested negative for COVID-19. The actress looked visibly glum, and said that while she was coming back from Srinagar after finding out about her father’s demise, she did not take precautions as she wasn’t in the right state of mind.
