Television actor Gaurav Khanna left the fans impressed with his stint as Anuj Kapadia on Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa. His wife, Akanksha Chamola enjoys a huge social media following and often takes to her official handle to share videos with her pet cat. One of her videos is now going viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) which has left the netizens enraged. In the video, she explains that cats are better than human babies as one can kiss them anytime they want. She further goes to show how, if the kitten starts biting or scratching, one can just drop them.

A netizen shared the video on X and slammed Akanksha for dropping the cat on the floor carelessly.  Many have slammed her for her insensitive act. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, she is heard saying, “Billi ke bacche insaan ke bacche se zyada acche aur mazedaar hote hai. Main batati hu kyu... Aap din bhar inhe pappi kar sakte ho, aur jab ye natak kare ya kaatne lage, toh aap inhe aise pakad ke kahi pe bhi chod sakte hai.”

Condemning her ‘cruel’ act, one wrote, “Oh no!! This is really disgusting koi kaise aisa kar sakta hai ?? This is Cruelty in the name of Entertainment just imagine, reel mai yeh karte hai toh real mai kaisa behave karte honge uss kitten ke sath.”

Well, a few fans also came to her rescue and slammed the netizens for badmouthing the actress. Some even shared that cats are built to survive high falls and land on their feet. While she has yet to respond to the merciless trolling, her fans came out in her support. It is to be noted that, it’s not known when the now-viral was posted.

For those who don’t know, Akanksha Chamola has been a part of television serials like Swaragini: Jodein Rishton Ke Sur and Bhootu. She tied the knot with Gaurav Khanna in 2016, in Kanpur. She has been away from the small screen for the last 7 years.
