TV actress Divya Bhatnagar breathed her last on Monday (December 7). Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress had contracted coronavirus and was battling for her life on the ventilator at Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai before succumbing to the deadly disease. Post Divya's death her personal life has been making news as her family revealed that her husband Gagan Sethi would torture her mentally and physically. They say her health worsened because of the ill treatment meted out to her and it ultimately resulted in her death. 

A prayer meet was organised by her mother and brother Dev Bhatnagar at Andheri. It was attended by Divya's friends from the industry like Alisha Panwar, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Yashashri Masurkar, Disha Parikh, Nidhi Uttam and others. During the prayer meet we saw her family and friends getting emotional for her and a few breaking into tears while paying their condolences. Few of them also interacted with the media remembering the late actress. Ishq Mein Marjawan actress Alisha Panwar said, "I have come here to support her mother and brother. Divya ek bhaut acchi ladki thi (in tears). We don't know what happened all of sudden. She was stressed and also not keeping well because of her personal life but due to COVID-19 everything went flared up. But I am very sure wherever she is now she is happy. And I really wish her soul rest in peace". Actress Yashashri Masurkar said with a heavy heart, "I know Divya as a strong girl. She was fighting. I just want to say that I am very proud of her. And I am going to miss her.” 

Her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Nidhi Uttam shared, "It has been a very painful week for me. She was one of my first friends in Mumbai. You all have witnessed Nandini and Gulabo's journey from our show but I never knew it will finish on this note. She was a pure soul and very helpful.”
