Disha Vakani Aka Dayaben Will Return To Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah On Navratri

Are you ready to hear one more exciting news about your favourite show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? Last week, SpotboyE.com exclusively brought to you that Nirmal Soni will be stepping into the shoes of late actor, Kavi Kumar Azad as Dr. Hathi in the show. With Dr Hathi’s character being revived, we dug deeper to find out when the lifeline of the show- Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, will return as well.

Disha, who is currently on a maternity break, delivered a baby girl on November 30, 2017. The actress made a brief comeback in March 2018 and shot for a few episodes, however, Disha soon took a sabbatical again as she wanted to spend time with her newborn.

But now, SpotboyE.com has it that Disha will be making a comeback to the show during Navratri. In fact, the makers have already shot a sequence at Disha’s real residence in Powai, where the actress is seen talking over the phone, and conveying that she will be celebrating Navratri in Gokuldham.

A source close to the show also informed us, “Disha’s husband, Mayur Padia, was not in favour of her resuming work immediately after delivering their baby girl. But seeing fans’ aggressive demand for her comeback, makers of the show requested Disha to return to the show soon. Finally, after many discussions, Disha has given her nod to return during Navratri. Seeing the actress'  willingness to get back to the show, Mayur too has agreed for his lovely wife to start entertaining fans yet again with her act as Dayaben.”

If all goes well, Disha will start shooting for the show next month. We tried contacting the actress to know further about the news but the actress she chose to not respond. So, get ready to make your Navratri all the more special this year with Dayaben’s return.
