Devoleena Bhattacharjee On Sidharth Shukla’s Death, Says, Shehnaaz Gill Will Take Time To Come To Terms With The Actor’s Untimely Death
Bigg Boss 13 Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared she was disturbed by the untimely death of the actor Sidharth Shukla. The actress in conversation with ETimes TV shared in the last year she lost many of her loved ones, followed by Sidharth Shukla’s death leaving her shocked. She spoke about Divya Bhatnagar, Pista Dhakad, Sushant Singh Rajput and now Sidharth Shukla, sudden death news. Their sudden sad demise news, lost her confidence and she was in no capacity to think.

Devoleena said, “As an actor and as a human being I've understood one thing that life is very uncertain. I have lost so many close people in this last one year. Starting from Divya Bhatnagar, then a sister- she was not a blood relative but she was my sister, then we all know about Pista Dhakad who worked for Bigg Boss, we spoke to each other at 12 am and around 1-1:30 am we learnt that she passed away, she was very close to me. We all know about Sushant Singh Rajput and now Sidharth Shukla, all this has broken me from inside. I lost my confidence as after hearing all this my mind stopped working.”

She mentioned holding grudges makes no sense, as life is uncertain, she said, “All this has made me realize that life is uncertain and when you hold grudges from someone, or say bad things to someone you are not only hurting them, deep down I feel you are hurting your self also. Earlier, people would say life is short we never actually bothered but now these incidents have made us experience it. Life is so uncertain that you don't know what will happen next moment.”


The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress shares she is a changed person now, and Sidharth Shukla’s prayer meet hosted by Brahmakumaris, compelled her to look at life look differently. She said, “When Sidharth Shukla's incident happened I was totally disturbed and shaken from inside. But when I heard the Brahmakumaris at the prayer meet organised for him and their words about Sidharth, it moved me. They said that soul is always there and it's only the body that leaves us. And if you release it happily when he is born somewhere else, he will come back happily. That's the reason I pray for Sidharth's soul. Main chahati hoon woh acche se wapas aaye. Devoleena on meeting Sidharth Shukla’s mother after his death stated that she is a strong lady. Also speaking about Shehnaaz Gill, the actress states the actor’s rumoured girlfriend will take time to come to terms. Hoping she recovers from the loss and fulfils the late actor’s dream. She said, “Rita aunty is such a strong lady. All my love to Shehnaaz. I am sure and I know it is not easy to come out of such a tragic incident and she will take some time to be normal. I just wish that she fulfils all those dreams that Sidharth saw for her. I really wish her luck and lots of love.”


Speaking about Shehnaaz, she said, “When I went to meet her on the first day, I spoke to her. But it is not the right time to speak to her. Crediting Sidharth Shukla’s mother for giving her strength to pour her heart out after she lost her father and young brother, she said, “I know this because I have gone through these emotions. I lost my father at a very young age, my young brother passed away in my arms. I know the pain and it doesn't go away by talking or staying with someone. It takes time and goes away naturally and gradually. But I must say Rita aunty is very strong and because of her strength and the words she spoke about Sidharth, it gave me also strength.”

She added, “I have started looking at life differently. Her words helped me to release many emotions and find peace within. I had many emotions in my heart about my father, brother which I was not able to let go off. Jab Maine suna aunty ko ki jab aap soul ko happily jaane dete ho woh happily wapas aata hai... these words will stay with me for life long.
