Deepshikha: I Am Filing For Divorce

Deepshikha Nagpal has decided that she doesn't want to continue her marriage with Kaishav Arora, whom she married in 2012.

"I have started the divorce proceedings," she told SpotboyE.com on Sunday.

"I am in a state of shock and would not like to elaborate on what transpired between Kaishav and I. But it's time that we separate legally," she added rather quickly.

Deepshikha recently approached a police station in Mumbai to file a non-cognizable offence police complaint, which restrains  Kaishav from entering her house. The actress alleged that Kaishav had threatened to kill her and her kids (Vidhika, Vivaan).
 

Surely, it can't be an impulsive decision? She saw the impending crisis right? "My kids were having exams in March and I didn't want to disturb them. But yes, I could definitely see what's in the offing."

So, why didn't she speak up? "Nahin bolun to bechari. Bolun to bitch. I didn't know what to do. I always thought that everything will be fine one day. Also, I thought that since this is my second marriage I should refrain going public about it. But matters really came to a head recently. Now, I don't want to stay with that man (Read; Kaishav) at all."

Deepshikha , who met Kaishav on the sets of Yeh Dooriyaan, was earlier married to Jeet Upendra with whom she has two kids. Her first marriage too had ended on an ugly note.

Has Jeet come forward to help her in her moment of crisis? "No, he has not come forward. But I don't need any help or sympathy," she said, adding, " I know it has not been easy. I am terribly exhausted. Anybody else in my place would have died by now. But I don't want anybody's advice. It's my life and I shall deal with it."
