In a recent interview with Indian Express, Debina was asked about how supernatural shows on TV are growing and if they promote superstitions. The actress said that Indians have always been interested by supernatural tales and mythology. She stated that even during her childhood she had heard and enjoyed tales about Vishkanyas and Naagins.

Debina added, “It didn’t make us superstitious or traumatize us. It actually helped us expand our imagination. Personally, I love watching and hearing these stories. I think it is really entertaining.”
When asked about her actor-husband Gurmeet Chaudhary’s reaction on the first look of the show, Debina revealed that he loved it and is more confident than her. She also added that Gurmeet had encouraged her for the show.
