Daya And Abhijit Of CID File Complaint Against Makers Of CIF For Non-Payment Of Dues- EXCLUSIVE
Actors Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava who played Senior Inspectors Daya and Abhijit in CID, have now filed a complaint at CINTAA against the producers of CIF, for non-payment of dues
For nearly 2 decades, Sony Entertainment Television’s show CID, had the audience glued to their seats. All the characters, right from ACP Pradyuman, Senior Inspector Daya, Senior Inspector Abhijit, Inspector Fredricks and several others provided us with our daily dose of entertainment.
It definitely hurt when the show came to a close in 2018, but then just a year after that, some of the actors from CID, namely Dayanand Shetty aka Daya, Aditya Srivastava aka Abhijit, Dinesh Phadnis aka Fredricks and Ansha Sayed aka Sub Inspector Purvi were offered another show on similar lines, named CIF which went on air in Sept 2019 on Dangal.
The show was promoted on a good scale and audiences were excited to see their favourite CID officers return in another crime investigation show. But now, we bring you an upsetting piece of news.
SpotboyE has it that the actors worked for 6-7 months without getting paid. Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Dinesh Phadnis and Ansha Sayed finally went to the CINTAA office and have registered a complaint against the producers (White Sand Productions).
A source says, “This is a serious offence. It’s like trying to ride on the CID wave and piggybacking on their success. This is just not done.”
We called up Abhijit and he said, 'I’m in a temple. Let's talk later." We are going up with this sad piece of news, Aditya. But our pages are always open for you to come back and tell us the details.
They had gone about 10 days ago and filed a complaint. Early last week, they were spotted at CINTAA office and they have been following it up also very earnestly. However, till date, they stand unfathed.
