Dance Deewane 3: Madhuri Dixit And Jackie Shroff Recreate Iconic Scene From Guide; Jaggu Dada And Suniel Shetty Reminisce Border Days
COLORS’ much-loved dance reality show, Dance Deewane has bagged a lot of appreciation for captivating the viewers with endless entertainment and beautifully capturing the ultimate deewangi for dance. Adding to the excitement and joining the judges Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh Yelande, this week will be two of Bollywood’s biggest and most entertaining actors Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty. Jackie Shroff along with Madhuri Dixit will get everyone on their toes as they recreate an iconic moment by the evergreen superstar Dev Anand from his hit movie, Guide.

Jackie Shroff mentioned that Guide was among his favourite films and he has forever been a fan of Dev Anand. Talking about his relationship with Dev Anand, Jackie Shroff said, “Dev Sahab is like a God to me. He was the one who gave me my first ever film role. I remember my first scene when I couldn’t manage to do a stunt and the technicians on set scolded me. Dev Sahab intervened. He asked them to treat me with respect as I was new and would soon learn. I cannot thank him enough. He has even written about me in his book and I am forever grateful to him.”

On the other hand, when Arundhati gave a powerful performance on the song, ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ from the movie, Border, it left everyone teary-eyed, especially the two guest judges, and 90's superstars Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty who then expressed their gratitude to the families of the soldiers.

Talking about it Jackie Shroff said, “I want to thank the families of soldiers who send their loved ones on the border to fight. They are the real heroes and each and every Indian need to remember the sacrifices made by these great men. It is when the soldiers shed their blood and sweat on the border that people in the country can sleep at ease. I am myself in touch with several defence personnel and I am grateful to them for their service and their sacrifice.”

Suniel Shetty, too, got emotional and said, “Arundhati’s performance took us on a very emotional journey right inside the homes of the soldiers. When I saw this act, I was reminded of the time when I went to Kargil to meet the soldiers. I remember meeting a jawaan who, even after losing both his hands, was raring with energy and patriotic fervour. It made me extremely emotional. I am grateful to the film Border which gave me a chance to wear this uniform. This was a spellbinding performance and Arundhati really touched all our hearts today.”
