Television actress Dalljiet Kaur made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her versatile acting performances and charming personality. Now matter how many challenges she has faced in life, she has always maintained an easy going smile on her face which is often lauded by her fans. After a tumultuous separation with her ex-husband Shalin Bhanot, she opened up her heart again to Nikhil Patel and tied the knot with him in March 2023. However, her second marriage also seems to have fallen apart.

While the rumours of their separation started when they unfollowed each other on social media, Dalljiet recently took to her official social media handle to level cheating allegations against the Kenya-based businessman. Now, in a deleted post on Instagram, she posted on Sunday, the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? actress revealed that Patel is refusing to accept their marriage. She also stated that confirmed he has backed out on her and her son Jaydon. Sharing a photo of herself in red ethnic wear, she wrote a heartbreaking caption. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, the 41-year-old wrote, “My clothes are there, my chooda is there, my temple, all my things are there, in fact my son's clothes, books and his hope from his father is there. It's my in-laws place, the painting which I made is there. But my husband is saying it's not my house. He is saying we never got married. Is he not my husband? What do you think? The post has also gone viral on Reddit, with netizens coming out in support of the actress. One wrote, “So he’s now saying that weren’t married to begin with….????? He’s so messed up And she has deleted this post now.” Another wrote, “Daljeet should just go full revenge and wreck his happiness by posting his reality online. Spread it to people he knows & ruin his image in his circle. He practically deserves way worse, but this is enough.” One commented, “I thought she was getting a second chance at love but he turned out to be another jerk. I should have known since one of his kids does not live with him.”

For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur found love in Nikhil Patel after divorcing her ex-husband Shalin Bhanot in 2015. Announcing her engagement earlier last year, she said, “I met Nick at a friend’s party in Dubai last year. I only spoke about my son, and he was talking about his two daughters, 13-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika. He wore blue nail polish on his toes, and when I asked him about it, he replied, ‘I am a proud dad of two girls.’ Romance wasn’t in the air back then; it was just two single parents chatting. Love happened with time. It was our love for our children that connected us.”
