Bigg Boss is one of the most loved reality shows in India. Even after 16 seasons, it has managed to keep the audience glued to their screens waiting for the next episode. This week’s weekend ka vaar episode will have actor Salman Khan return as the host after recovering from dengue. The actor will be seen schooling the contestants for their behaviour and giving them a reality check.

Two of the contestants who would be on the receiving side of Salman’s wrath are Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Ankit Gupta. Both of them have yet to show their game plan. The Dabangg actor will be seen taking a poll that requires the contestants to vote on who needs a guardian to play the game in the house. He will then school the two actors about their low performance. In a recent promo released by the makers, Salman asks Sumbul, "What have you done in this house? Yahan se badi-badi baatein karke gayi ki main badi strong hoon (You made bold claims about your strength). You are not even visible in this house. You don’t even listen to your parents."

In another video, he is seen telling the Imlie star to get up from the couch and keep on walking until she is not visible in the frame to explain to her about her visibility in the house. Coming back to Ankit, the 56-year-old is seen telling him that he can’t see enough confidence in him to play the game.

Salman’s harsh words have now irked the fans of both the actors. Netizens have taken to social media to express how the show is just insulting Sumbul and Ankit for their quiet personalities. One fan pointed out, "Contestants need constructive criticism for their performance. Not mockery on their personalities. Everyone has unique personality. Killing confidence and insulting on NTV is not OK." Another wrote, "This is the worst bb & makers will do Ankit dont deserve this kind of treatment Guardian chahiye? Why this ? He took his stand he say less bt whatever he say it is very impactful in every way people listen him & i respect him just the way he is Calm & collected."
