The latest episode of Bigg Boss 15 witnessed a surprising elimination and two contestants - Vidhi Pandya and Donal Bisht - were forced to leave the show in the middle of the week. The shocking development came after Bigg Boss punished the contestants for repeatedly breaking the house rules and their aggressive behaviour. Bigg Boss reprimanded the contestants and said that nobody has a right to live in the house if they keep on misbehaving.  

Later, the housemates were asked who they thought were the weakest links in the house. The contestants by majority pointed out Donal Bisht and Vidhi Pandya.


Starting from Pratik, he gave out Donal and Vidhi’s name. Then Jay called out Donal and Vidhi’s names as well. Furthermore, to everyone’s surprise, Shamita Shetty, Karan Kundrra, Nishant Bhatt, Vishal, Ieshaan, Umar, Nigam, Afsana, Tejasswi, Miesha, Akasa also called out Donal and Vidhi’s names.

Hence, Donal and Vidhi were evicted, leaving everyone teary-eyed. Karan and Tejasswi were especially left heartbroken over the double elimination.

This also saw repercussions on social media. Fans expressed their disappointment upon Donal Bisht and Vidhi Pandya’s exit from the house. In no time, ‘#BringDonalBack’, ‘#VidhiPandya’ started trending on Twitter and several thousand tweets were dedicated to them. Netizens have called these mid-week evictions ‘unfair’ and many want to see them back on the show.

Fans and followers of the show said that the housemates have no right to evict another contestant, and that the power should solely lie with the audience.

For the unversed, on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, host Salman Khan announced that there would be no elimination.
