Bigg Boss 14 Contestant Rakhi Sawant And Her Brother Rakesh Booked In A Fraud Case In Delhi
Bigg Boss 14 finalist Rakhi Sawant has once again hit the headlines- this time not for any pleasant reason, but for a legal issue. As per reports in Navbharat Times, an FIR has been filed against Rakhi Sawant and her brother Rakesh at Vikaspuri police station in Delhi. The sibling duo along with one more person Raj Khatri has a fraud case against them. This case dates back to the 2017 case. The trio is said to have a deal with a person named Shailesh Srivastava.

Giving a clear version of the scenario, Shailesh who is a retired bank employee allegedly met Rakhi’s brother in order to start a business and gave Rs. 6 lakh to Rakesh. As per the report, this meeting between Shailesh and Rakesh was initiated by Raj, where the two decided to produce a film based on the life of Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Besides this Rakesh and Shailesh also had plans to open a dance institute, followed by Rakesh assuring Shailesh that Rakhi will be going to the institute.

However, none of this materialized, and to top it all, the sibling duo allegedly handed out a post-dated cheque of Rs. 7 lakh to Shailesh, but it was found the signature on it was incorrect. Followed by which it also came to light that the agreement between them also reportedly had invalid signatures thus making the agreement null and void. Post which Shailesh tried contacting Rakesh but in vain. Shailesh then filed a complaint against them.

It was also reported that Rakesh had urged Shailesh to produce another short film. ALSO READ: Vikas Gupta Compares Rakhi Sawant's Mother To Halle Berry: Says She Has The 'Coolest Swag To Carry The Bald Look'
