Social media is full of SOS calls of patients in need of COVID drugs, hospital beds, plasma, and more. A lot of people who have recovered from Coronavirus have been donating plasma. Bigg Boss 13 contestant Himanshi Khurana, in her latest tweet, wrote about contemplating donating her plasma. However, Twitterati questioned if she is even eligible for plasma donation, considering she had contracted COVID in September last year.

In her tweet, Himanshi also wrote that she wonders if one donates plasma for free, do hospitals also give plasma to patients for free? Her tweet invited trolls, and while some questioned her eligibility for donation, others pointed out that the hospitals charge for the maintenance of plasma. Himanshi’s tweet read, “I was thinking will donate my plasma before vaccination but hospital gonna charge so much agar hum plasma free me donate kar rahe hospital bhi free plasma dega #HimanshiKhurana.” One social media reacted to this tweet and wrote, “That's tthe maintenance charge. Blood or plasma requires specific stoarage system. Wo kya dudh k packet ki tarha fridge mai nai rakkha jata. Aur tumhare covid ko bohot din ho gaye. Itna purana nai chalta.”

A social media user wrote, “she is not eligible for donating plasma,” while another commented, “Apko covid free huy kitny months guzr gye .
