Television actress Vidisha Srivastava enjoys a huge social media fan following due to her acting chops and comic timings. She became a household name after she replaced Neha Pendse in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai. She has effortlessly pulled off portraying the character of Anjali bhabhi. The actress is currently over the moon as she announced her first pregnancy to her fans through an interview and a photoshoot.

For the unversed, Vidisha tied the knot with her husband Sayak Paul in December 2018. While she is gearing up to deliver her child in July, she recently flaunted her baby bump in a bold photoshoot. Posted by Viral Bhayani on his official Instagram handle, the paparazzi captioned the picture, “Congratulations to #vidishasrivastava of #bhabhijigharparhai fame and her hubby Sayak on this good news. Such an amazing photo shoot.”


Talking about the concept of the photoshoot, the actress told ETimes that it was about embracing this new phase in her life. She said, “I wished for a photo shoot that would make me recall my appearance during pregnancy. It was all about accepting and respecting the new me. I wanted to keep it real and lovely.” In her interview, she also shed light on the fact that even though this was an unplanned pregnancy, her husband has been her pillar of strength throughout the entire experience.

She went on to add that she will be taking a one month break after her baby is born and will soon resume work. Vidishah said, “I will continue shooting till it’s possible for me. I get up, move around and shoot some comic scenes for now. Everyone says my child will be a born actor. I will take a short break of a month after my delivery & will restart work as soon as possible. The production house has been supportive and gives me breaks in between. I have also designed my clothes in a way my baby bump doesn’t show up much.”
