Asha Negi-Sharman Joshi's Kiss In Baarish 2: Co-Star Priya Banerjee Says, 'Asha Didn't Allow Me On The Sets, She Was Very Nervous'

Recently, the kissing scene between Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi in Ekta Kapoor's web series, Baarish 2 made a lot of buzz as it was for the first time that the Pavitra Rishta actress attempted something of this sort on-screen. Talking to us exclusively, earlier, Asha had revealed how awkward she was while shooting for the scene.

And now, Asha's on screen sister-in-law, Priya Banerjee (essaying the character of Shreya) has something interesting to add. She revealed some hilarious details about Negi and the shoot of the particular scene.

Talking to us Priya revealed, "I know that scene grabbed a lot of eye balls. So, they shot for the sequence in Khar which is very close to where I live. I used to hang out with them even when I was not shooting for the show. That day also I called up Asha and told her that I am dropping in and once they finish work, we can go out to chill and have dinner. But she got very tensed and said, "No-No, you don't come on the set." And I was quite surprised with her response because Asha is never stressed out. So, I asked her if everything is okay and why is she asking me not to come. And then she told me, "Actually it's my first kissing scene today and I don't want anybody to see me while shooting for it" and after hearing that I totally cracked up. She didn't allow me on the set and I also didn't go because she was extremely nervous but we met after the shoot and by that time, she was fine. But yaa her first on-screen kiss made her really very nervous (laughs)."



Priya also shared how the whole team bonded over food, off screen. "I want to be a part of more seasons if it's made for a very special reason besides it being a great show and we all are very close. Shooting with them doesn't make me feel I am going for work but a picnic. Maximum time you will find all of us eating in each other's vanity. I am the biggest foodie though who likes to eat all junk food, such as bhajiya, Maggie and rest. In fact, our director Nandita used to get gajar ka halwa for me and Asha."

Coming to Asha's reaction, well, it definitely was hilarious but we're glad she pulled it off brilliantly on-screen.
