Anupamaa’s upcoming episode will see Malti Devi repenting for abandoning Anuj when he was young, as everyone gathers at the Kapadia house for Ganpati celebrations

Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from the audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC ratings every week. It enjoys a huge fan base on social media as well, however the ongoing track of the show has left the audience with mixed reactions. The drama in the show is at an all time high as Anuj and Anu welcome Ganpati Bappa at their home.

Today’s episode starts with Anu and Anuj returning home after their shopping spree for the Ganpati celebrations. As Anuj goes back to the shop to collect his card, Anu calls Baapuji to apologise and burdening him with Malti Devi’s responsibility. He consoles her and asks about Anuj. She opens up about her worries and shares how Anuj is not ready to accept Malti Devi as his mother. She goes on to reveal how she doesn’t want to push the topic more as it will only hurt him. Anu ends the call just as Anuj comes back from the store. As they return home, it is seen that Pakhi, Adhik and Romil are busy talking about the decorations. Choti Anu chimes in by saying that in her orphanage they used to say that Ganpati loves kids. Anuj says that even in his orphanage they said the same thing. Pakhi tells Choti that by next year, they might even welcome a small baby. Barkha inquires if she and Adhik are planning for a baby. As Pakhi says that they are, Barkha advises them to focus on the relationship first. Anu supports Barkha’s view, Pakhi counters with the fact that her mother had too welcomed kids at this age. Anu makes her understand that the circumstances back then and today are completely different. Anuj goes on to state that having a baby is a huge responsibility and if not taken properly can ruin a baby’s life. On the other hand, at the Kapadia mansion, Malti Devi repents in front of God for abandoning a son like Anuj. As she weeps and seeks for forgiveness, Baa expresses how even Anuj might have wept like this in front of God for his birth mother. She compares Malti Devi abandoning her kid to achieve her dreams to Anupamaa abandoning her dreams for Choti and states that a mother should be like the latter. As the episode comes to an end both the families come together for Ganpati celebration, where while dancing Samar slips. Anu saves him from falling on a pointed candle stand just in time. However a few instances take place that foreshadows his upcoming death track.

In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Dimpy announces her pregnancy in front of the entire family, which leaves everyone ecstatic. If the promo is anything to go by, Samar will die after a tragedy and Anuj will be blamed for his sudden passing. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes unfold.
