Anupamaa’s upcoming episode will show the doctor recommending that Vanraj starts going to therapy as he is traumatised by Samar’s death

Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 16 October 2023: Shah’s Get Worried As Doctor Tells Them That Vanraj Should Start Therapy, Malti Devi Bonds With Choti Anu
Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from the audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC ratings every week. It enjoys a huge fan base on social media as well, however, the ongoing track of the show has left the audience devastated. The last few episodes have centered around Samar’s death. In yesterday’s episode, it was seen that Vanraj has a panic attack and faints while recalling how he isn’t a good father.

Today’s episode starts with Malti Devi and Choti Anu bonding with each other. As the former asks the latter to call her Dadi, she also tells her that she will teach her how to dance, comb her hair, tell her stories and so much more. Choti tells Malti Devi to promise her that she won’t leave Anuj again. Choti goes on to share how ever since Samar left, Anupamaa has stopped spending time with her and Anuj. Malti Devi promises to take care of it. Just then Pakhi and Adhik return to the house and Barkha enquires about her well-being.


Back at the Shah house, everyone stands worried as the doctor checks Vanraj. The doctor tells everyone that Vanraj is suffering from trauma as he can’t bear the loss of his son. The doctor goes on to suggest that Vanraj should therapy or he might lose his mental balance. This leaves everyone worried. Anu starts recalling how Vanraj used to shower Paritosh and Pakhi with love but would taunt Samar for being a loser. She reveals how he must be in a lot of pain and guilt because of it. While on one hand Baa and Baapuji grieve their son, on the other hand, Anupamaa tells Anuj that he did the right thing by letting Malti Devi stay with them. 

Anuj again asks for Anu’s forgiveness. Anu goes on to tell him that she isn’t angry at him and just needs time to come to terms with everything that is happening. As they return to the Kapadia mansion after meeting a boy, who was donated Samar’s eyes, Anuj tells everyone that the case got weak after Toshu and Abdhik backed out from giving their statement. As the episode progresses further it is seen that Anu is glad Malti Devi and Choti are bonding, as her daughter always wanted a grandmother. On the other hand, the Shah family promises each other to look after Vanraj just like he has all these years. 

In the upcoming episode of the show it will be seen that Sonu gets arrested for his wrongdoings and his father, Suresh Rathod gives a statement to the media stating how his son is being targeted. It will also be seen that Vanraj declares that he will destroy Suresh’s life. As Suresh asks him to take back the case, Vanraj grabs him by the neck. This incident gets recorded by Rathod’s goons.
