Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Panadey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, Anupamaa is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. The show has always topped the BARC ratings ever since it was released in 2020. While the high voltage drama in Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa has kept the audiences invested, the upcoming twist in the story has left them devastated. It was seen in yesterday’s episode how Sonu’s rude and entitled behaviour irks Anuj.

In today’s episode it will be seen that the argument between Anuj and Sonu keeps on escalating. Despite the men trying to intervene, Anuj punches Sonu. Sonu lashes out and starts instigating Anuj more and more. Sonu goes as far as to ask Anuj what he would do if he misbehaved with the ladies of his family. Anuj starts beating Sonu and Vanraj stops him by stating that the police should handle the matter. The Manager informs everyone that Sonu will be taken care of. Back at the Shah house, Anupamaa starts feeling restless and worried about Samar. The ladies change out of their party clothes, just as Baapuji tells Anupamaa that all of them are coming home. However, tragedy strikes hard as Sonu shoots his gun towards Anuj, however Samar jumps in front of him. Sonu’s friends take him from there. Anupamaa wanders in the kitchen as she sees the ladies singing songs and notices the kheer she kept for Samar in the fridge. She gets happy watching Samar walking towards her. He informs her that he came to have her kheer. Anu feeds him kheer and has a heart-to-heart talk with her son. Samar starts talking vaguely and cryptically hinting at how he wants his mother to help Dimpy take care of his baby. He hints at the fact that he will come back to her in the form of his child. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Anupamaa will receive the shock of her life when Vanraj informs her that Samar is dead. She will call out to her dear son who disappears in a puff of smoke. A recent promo suggests that the incident will leave Anupamaa devastated and lead to her separation from Anuj. She will slip into depression, unable to respond to anyone, not even Anuj. 

This will leave everyone concerned for her health. The audience might get to see that Samar’s death will cause Anu and Anuj to drift apart as Dimpy doesn’t want the one responsible for her husband’s death around them. As Anu tries to come to terms with Samar’s death, Anuj might go live with Malti Devi and build a relationship with her.
