Star Plus' show Anupamaa's ongoing track is currently revolving around an incident of sexual harassment at the workplace that Kinjal, played by Nidhi Shah, is facing. In tonight's episode, Rupali Ganguly, who is essaying the title role of the show is going to expose the person behind it in a live session. The audience is waiting excitedly to witness the episode. We spoke to Nidhi about what she feels about the ongoing track.

Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively Nidhi says, "Quite honestly, I am excited and looking forward to it tonight. I hope we have done a decent job. The writer has tried to keep the emotions real. It will be an honest response. Hoping it bodes well with our audience". Nidhi, who has been facing the situation on-screen, confesses that shooting such scenes become emotionally taxing. She says, "Shooting such scenes is not easy and at times become emotionally taxing because these are sensitive topics and need immediate attention. For people to understand what’s happening around them, if I don’t feel this I won't be able to portray it on-screen". "It is important for everyone to stand up for such issues and if you see someone else facing something similar, you must try to support them so that they stand up for themselves," adds Nidhi.

Anupamaa is trying to break gender stereotypes according to Nidhi. She says, "It is imperative to break gender stereotypes. One should not shy away from talking about things that are otherwise considered taboo. The more we talk, the more we share, the more we end up educating ourselves."

The show rules the TRP charts and the audience's heart because they think the show makes for an ideal daily soap but is much more than just kitchen politics.
