Anupam Shyam's Close Friend Yashpal Sharma's Shocking Revelation About His Last Encounter With Him At The Hospital

Veteran actor Anupam Shyam, who was admitted to a city hospital in Mumbai due to a kidney infection last week, died on Monday following multiple organ failure. His close friend and actor Yashpal Sharma was “shocked” when he heard the tragic news about the death of his “mentor guide and a really “good friend” Anupam. While speaking to Outlook.com, Yashpal said, “I got the call last night, and I couldn’t believe it. I mean yes, he was a bit unwell, but it still did shock me. I rushed to the hospital straight away.
He was someone who loved telling stories, loved to share a joke or two. He used to love to laugh. He was also a dog lover. He had so many pets at home,” recalls Sharma.
Yashpal also made a shocking revelation regarding his last encounter with the late actor. Yashpal mentioned that Anupam Shyam was 'still breathing' post meeting him just right after he learned about the news of his demise. ANI quoted him as saying, “I got to know that he's no more. So we rushed here & found he was still breathing. The doctor later declared him dead. He was hospitalised for 4 days. He had high blood sugar & used to take injections during shooting of his last film.”
Anupam Shyam, who is best known for his work on the TV show Mann Kee Awaaz: Pratigya and appearances in films like Slumdog Millionaire and Bandit Queen, breathed his last at the hospital amid the presence of his two brothers, Anurag and Kanchan.
As soon as the news of Anupam Shyam’s sad demise broke out, heartfelt condolences started pouring in from all corners. Actor Manoj Bajpayee took to social media to mourn Shyam’s passing and wrote, “Rest in peace my friend !!! You loved it fully both as an actor and as a person!!! Bahut yaad aaoge Dilli aur mumbai me bitaye din bhi yaad aayenge !!! Jo Jiya accha jiya mere dost !! Prabhu tumhari aatma ko shaanti de !!! (I’ll miss you and our days in Delhi and Mumbai. You lived a good life. I hope you rest in peace)”
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit also expressed his condolences on Twitter and wrote, “Sad to know about the demise of one of the finest actors & a great human being #AnupamShyam due to multiple organ failure. My heartfelt condolences to his family. A great loss to the film & tv industry.”
