Actress Ankita Lokhande has been an ardent fan of Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit. Her admiration for the latter is well-known to everyone. Despite her injured hand, she recently reached the sets of the dance reality show, Dance Deewane, where the diva is a judge. Dressed beautifully in Madhuri’s iconic look from the song Humko Aaj Kal Hai of the movie Sailaab (1990), the Pavitra Rishta actress paid her idol a tribute on the occasion of her birthday. 

Taking to her official social media handle, the 39-year-old actress shared a video compilation of meeting Madhuri and wishing her a happy birthday. In the video, she is seen reaching the sets of the dance reality show and performing the iconic song despite her injured hand. She goes on to express her admiration for the senior actress and dances with the birthday girl. Sharing the video on Instagram, the Swantrya Veer Savarkar actress wrote, “Once a FAN is always a FAN. One of the most memorable moments of my life was when I shared the stage with @madhuridixitnene ma’am! It feels extra special to be with you in the same frame. All my life, I have always mimicked your dance steps and this feels a little more precious, especially on your birthday. All my love and heart to you, ma’am. For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with her husband Vicky Jain in a grand ceremony in 2021. They were seen in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 17. Throughout the show, they made the headlines for their quarrels and the actress reminiscing about her past relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On the work front, she was last seen in Randeep Hooda’s ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.’ She essayed the role of Yamunabai Savarkar. She will be next seen in the web series Amrapali.
