Sheezan Khan's life took a sudden turn in December 2022 following the tragic incident involving his co-star Tunisha Sharma. She was found deceased in her make-up room, leading to Khan being accused of abetment of suicide and subsequent imprisonment. Granted bail earlier this year, Khan opened up in a recent interview, expressing the immense emotional turmoil he faced.

"After my bail plea was initially rejected in January, the fear of a prolonged stay behind bars overwhelmed me. Following my release on bail, sleep eluded me for around 70 days. I felt like an outsider in my own home, often shedding tears for hours. I was diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). My family's unwavering support during this ordeal means everything to me," Khan shared with E-Times.

Reflecting on Tunisha Sharma's tragic demise, Khan expressed profound grief, stating, "The loss of Tunisha created an irreplaceable void in my life. Words can't describe the significance she held. Those familiar with us know her significance. Tunni was my world. Her untimely departure has left an unfathomable emptiness. If she were here, she'd be my unwavering support. She'll forever remain my Tunni, someone I deeply cherished. A part of me went with her."

Sheezan Khan concluded by revealing his efforts to quash the case against him, seeking resolution amidst the challenging circumstances.
