Talking to us exclusively Ashi Singh said, "I am very much disheartened that Aladdin is going off air. Taking Aladdin was a big challenge for me. I also had to go through a lot of hatred and negativity initially. But with time the audience accepted me and also started loving me. Though my journey was short with the show, it's definitely the memorable one. So, I am really going to miss it. Also, I am very upset with the fact that I am not going to play Yasmine anymore and I cannot do anything about it." She added, "I know actors have to go through such situations whenever their shows come to an end. I have experienced this similar situation before also. But it doesn't make it less difficult I feel. The thought that it's ending hits you hard. So, I am trying not to think that again and again and make best of memories on my last day."
Ashi's chemistry with Siddharth Nigam was loved by the audience. When asked if she would like to be paired opposite him again, Ashi said, "A big yes for it. As Siddharth is a wonderful person. He has been very supportive and motivating. In a very less time, we became really good friends. Siddharth looked very reserved to me. I didn't even imagine that I would get comfortable with him so easily. He is a great co-star. So, if I get a chance to work with him again, it would be my pleasure."
