Aladdin Actor Siddharth Nigam DELETES All The Chinese Apps In His Phone Post TikTok Ban In India; Says, 'Jai Hind Jai Bharat'
Aladdin star Siddharth Nigam, who has a huge fan-following on Tiktok, deletes all the Chinese apps from his phone in the wake of the ban announced by the government
Last night, the Indian government announced an official ban on 59 Chinese applications, including the likes of TikTok. This decision came after the mounting tension at the Indo-China border and all the outrage on social media. The decision was taken to "safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users". Further, it revealed that this decision is planned to ensure the safety and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace. This move by the Indian government was welcomed with open arms by all the citizens, including celebrities. After Kushal Tandon, Malaika Arora, Nia Sharma and others, Aladdin actor Siddharth Nigam, too, has lauded the ban.
Taking to his Instagram story, the Dhoom 3 actor shared that he welcomed the decision with outmost positivity and has also deleted all the Chinese applications on his phone. The list includes TikTok, We Chat and Share it. Siddharth wrote, "I have deleted all the Chinese app which I had on my phone. TikTok, We chat, Share it. Jai Hind Jai Bharat." He also shared the official press statement issued by the government announcing the ban. Well, other than TV, Siddharth was quite a sensation on TikTok as well, he had followers in millions and would often share some entertaining videos.

"As we all know that our government has banned TikTok and other Chinese applications. I would just like to say that I totally support this ban and boycott the App. Not just me, my entire family also supports it without any doubts as there is nothing more important than our country, people and soldiers. Aage bhi jo bhi guidelines, rules aur regulations aayenge, vo bhi ham follow karenge with all due respect," said Jannat.
