After popular TV show Circus' re-run on TV, Shah Rukh Khan’s Doosra Keval promises a lot of entertainment for the audience during the lockdown
COVID-19 lockdown proved to be a boon for Indian TV channel Doordarshan, as they managed to gain the maximum TRPs by re-running the old shows on the channel. And with the extended lockdown, it shall continue to be in the race as well. After re-telecast of Ramayana, the channel announced and brought back many TV shows including Shah Rukh Khan’s Circus. Now, the GEC has also confirmed that they are getting back yet another show of King Khan to the small screen, titled Doosra Keval.
These shows of the global star are nothing less than a treat for his fans. Doosra Keval was a story of a small-town boy coming to the city to live his dreams but unfortunately dies after refusing to help his friends in an illegal activity. His family is left shattered by the news of his demise. A young Shah Rukh Khan will charm you with his acting prowess in this one.
A lesser-known fact about the show is that we will see Khan in a double role. Doordarshan National announcing the return of Doosra Keval on the small screen shared a promo of the show.

Doosra Keval was first aired on Doordarshan in the year 1989 and starred Shah Rukh Khan in main lead, with actress Vinita Malik playing his onscreen mother, Natasha Rana his teenaged sister and actor Arun Bali played his guiding star.
