Actress Aamna Sharif is quite a popular name in the television industry. She is best known for playing Kashish in Kahiin to Hoga, Muskan in Hongey Judaa Na Hum and Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. In a recent interview, Aamna opened up about playing the negative role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s popular daily soap and admitted that after some point it started affecting her mental health. The actress stated that it was very heavy to play the negative character as it had scenes that took a toll on her mental health.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Aamna said, “It was so heavy to play her because the scenes Komolika performed were so negative. I remember in one specific scene I had to kill a newborn which played with my mental health.” For the unversed, Aamna was roped in to play the new Komolika after actress Hina Khan left the show. The role was originally played by Urvashi Dholakia in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. When asked if she had any apprehensions about doing bold scenes, the actress explained that comfort level is crucial. Since she and Gaurav bonded really well on the sets, the romantic scenes turned out beautifully on the big screen.

“I have never ever done these kinds of scenes on screen. I was very nervous and scared. My co-star needed to make me feel comfortable. I’m so happy that Gaurav played Saahir,” Aamna further stated.
