Popular TV actress Ketki Dave is left heartbroken and numb due to the sudden passing away of her actor husband Rasik Dave. On July 29, he passed away because of kidney failure. He was 65. As per reports, Rasik, who was suffering from kidney ailments, was on dialysis for the past two years. The late actor was widely known for his work in Gujarati films and Hindi TV shows. Rasik Dave’s tragic demise has sent shockwaves across the entire TV industry.
Rick tributes are pouring in for the actor from his fans and loved ones on social media. One ardent fan tweeted, “Gujarati theatre lost it's charm.. Wellknown Gujarati actor #Rasikdave passed away...Will miss you Rasikbhaai..Om shanti.” Reportedly, Rasik’s kidney condition deteriorated and he was in a lot of pain from the last one month. His last rites will be held today. Offering his condolences, veteran filmmaker Ashoke Pandit wrote on his Twitter handle, “Sad to know about the demise of a dear friend Rasik Dave who was a versatile actor on stage , tv and films due to kidney failure. Heartfelt condolences to his wife Ketaki Dave and his entire family . Will always be remembered.”

In terms of work, Rasik Dave ventured into the Gujarati film industry in 1982 with the film Putra Vadhu. He rose to prominence after he played Karsandas Dhansukhlal Vaishnav in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki. He also essayed the role of Nand in the epic television series Mahabharat.
Ketki, on the other hand, is a renowned face in the television Industry. She is best known for playing Daksha in Ekta Kapoor’s cult show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Rasik and Ketki Dave also participated in the popular couple reality show ‘Nach Baliye 2’ in 2006.
Rasik Dave is survived by his wife Ketki and two children, a son, and daughter.
