Audiences were left heartbroken as the news of actor Rituraj K Singh’s sudden passing made the headlines. The 59-year-old actor breathed his last on Monday night, February 19, after suffering a cardiac arrest. Having established himself as a versatile and credible actor by working extensively in television, movies, and web shows, his untimely demise has left a hole in the hearts of his fans. As the condolences have been pouring in on social media, a netizen dug out an old photo of him and late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan from their serial
‘Banegi Apni Baat’.

Sharing a still from the serial, the netizen reminisced about how despite being closer to age the Khan had essayed the role of Singh’s father in the show. They expressed remorse over losing some of the best talents the Indian film industry had to offer too soon. The netizen captioned the post, “Banegi Apni Baat. For the unversed, Rituraj K Singh passed away on Monday, February 19, at the age of 59. He breathed his last after suffering cardiac arrest. Multiple media reports state that he was admitted to the hospital a while back for the treatment of his pancreas. However, once he returned home, he faced cardiac complications and passed away. Fans and netizens have taken to social media to pour in their condolences. On the work front, Rituraj K Singh was last seen essaying the role of Yashpal, a strict restaurant owner/cook, in Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa. He was replaced by Vaquar Shaikh, who plays the role of Yashpal’s younger brother Yashdeep. Having established himself as a versatile actor, he has been a part of many Bollywood movies, web shows, and television serials like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhay 3 and Never Kiss Your Best Friend among many others.
