Actress Himanshi Khurana left her fans brokenhearted after separating from her longtime boyfriend Asim Riaz. Despite stating that they brokeup due to their religious differences, fans have been waiting for her to speak up about the relationship. Being an avid social media user, she often takes to her official handle to share updates about her personal and professional life. As her ex-boyfriend Asim Riaz made the headlines for being expelled from Rohit Shetty’s adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14, she took to her Instagram stories to share a cryptic video.
As celebs and netizens lashed out at Riaz for insulting the host and other contestants of the reality show, she shared a video where the speaker was urging people to speakup against the wrong. The speaker goes on to mention how it is important to raise voice against wrong happenings. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, the speaker is heard saying, “Somebody’s doing wrong to you or to someone else in your family and you just say to yourself I should have patience, I should be quiet. Because you are quiet, the person who is doing something wrong continues to do more wrong. Because of your silence now the wrong has increased 10 times more. You committed an excess, you weren’t supposed to yell and scream, you are not supposed to become ignorant but you are supposed to at least speak the truth. Call the truth for what it is. For those who don’t remember, Asim and Himanshi met during their participation on Salman Khan’s controversial reality show, Bigg Boss season 13. Their love blossomed and soon they started dating each other until their painful breakup in December 2023. Having been in a relationship for around four years, they went on to collaborate in multiple music videos like "Pinjra," "Kalla Sonha Hai," and others.
Announcing the separation, she had written, “Asim and I are no longer together. Though our time together was wonderful, our togetherness has concluded. Our relationship journey was incredible, and now we're progressing separately in our lives. We kindly ask for your respect regarding our privacy - Himanshi.” It was later revealed that they they went their separate ways due to their religious beliefs. Khurana was brutally trolled by the audience, which led to her deactivating her official X handle.
