South superstar Allu Arjun was recently invited to represent India at the annual India Day parade in New York. It was indeed a matter of huge honour for him and his fans. The Pushpa actor represented the country as a grand marshal along with his wife Sneha Reddy as part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of India's independence. He also gave a glimpse of it on social media via a video and penned a heartfelt note.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Allu shared a video from the event and wrote, “It was an honour being the grand marshal at the India Day parade in New York.” In the clip, he was seen waving the national flag at the parade. The Arya 2 actor looked handsome in a white coat and pants. His wife complimented him in a traditional yellow outfit. In the videos, Arjun was seen greeting fans from an open-top vehicle. These clips have taken social media by storm with fans showering compliments on the actor. This year, the Federation of Indian Associations of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut joined hands to come together to celebrate 75 years of India's Independence.
Meanwhile, the makers have announced a sequel ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, which goes on floors today. Allu has started the prep for the film. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen reprising her role as Srivalli in the same. The movie is likely to release in the next few months. Directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa: The Rise' broke all the records at the box office and collected a whopping Rs 365 crore worldwide in 50 days.
