Astrologer Venu Swamy Parankusham recently landed in legal trouble after he predicted that actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who got engaged on August 8, 2024, would separate because of another woman. He made the announcement, days after their engagement photos went viral on social media. In his -predictions he stated that the relationship would end in 2027. The claim sparked controversy among the netizens. The Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) filed a police complaint against the astrologer for his ‘insensitive’ video.
As he receive backlash for his comments, he proceeded to issue an apology on his official social media handle. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, Parankusham said, “I had vowed to never predict film stars and politicians’ futures, and I will stick to my word. Talking about the newly engaged couple, Chaitanya and Sobhita have reportedly been dating for around two years. Before getting engaged to the actress, he had tied the knot with with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2017 in Goa. The glimpses of their beautiful wedding had taken the internet by storm as they were one of the most-loved couples in the Telugu entertainment industry. Sharing their engagment photographs, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala took to their official Instagram handles and captioned the post, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever?
