Vijay Deverakonda Files A Case Against YouTuber For Spreading ‘Vulgar’ Misinformation About Him And An Actress; Hyderabad Police Takes Action
Vijay Deverakonda and his team filed a case against a YouTuber for spreading rumours about the actor and an actress
Pan-Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda enjoys a huge fan base. He has left a mark in the entertainment industry with his versatile performances, chocolate-boy looks and fashion statement. Having been a part of the industry for so long, the actor has to face a lot of rumours and speculations about himself and his co-star. He recently took action against an Andra Pradesh-based YouTuber for spreading ‘vulgar’ misinformation about him and an actress.
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, YouTuber Venkata Kiran from Anantapur, Andra Pradesh, had shared rumours about Deverakonda and one of his female co-stars on his YouTube channel CinePolis. The Hyderabad police’s Cyber Crime Department apprehended the individual for spreading vulgar misinformation and insulting the actor after he and his team filed a complaint. While shedding light on the matter, a member from Vijay’s team told the publication, “The police promptly responded after their attention was brought to the disrespectful news. As per the report, an FIR was filed against the individual under the case number 2590/2023 in Hyderabad. The individual was then arrested and brought to the city within hours of the actor filing the complaint. Talking about the Kushi actor’s stand on the entire matter, his team told the leading daily that while he is used to the rumours, he wanted to set an example as a third party’s name was involved. HT quoted their source saying, “Vijay is used to rumour-mongering but sometimes, people cross a line. On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen on the big screens in Kushi alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He is currently busy shooting for Parasuram Petla directorial Family Star alongside Mrunal Thakur. He also has an untitled project with Gowtam Tinnanuri in his pipeline. It is being stated that actress Rashmika Mandanna has replaced Sreeleela in the movie.
