Telugu actor Sathyaraj tests positive for COVID-19, the actor admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for treatment
Renowned Telugu actor Sathyaraj after testing positive for COVID-19 was hospitalised in a private hospital in Chennai. The actor who played Katappa in the hit series, Baahubali was hospitalised on January 7, 2022 after he developed acute symptoms. Though the actor was tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus, he was under home quarantine but was later moved to a private hospital after he had acute symptoms as reported in News18. Now as per the latest update in IANS, the actor is recovering well and will be possibly discharged in 2-3 days.
As reported by the news agency, IANS, “Actor Sathyaraj was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. He is recovering well. In fact, doctors have told him that he will be discharged in two or three days and that he might have to quarantine himself at home for a week or so after that.” He was undergoing his treatment in Aminijikarai, in Chennai after he was gripped by the deadly virus. We wish the senior actor a speedy recovery and hope he gets back home soon.
Besides him, filmmaker Priyadarshan was too admitted to the Apollo Hospital after he was tested positive for COVID-19.
In recent times, celebs who declared testing positive for COVID-19 were, Mahesh Babu, Trisha, Manchu Manoj, Manchu Lakshmi, music director Taman, Nitin's wife, and actor Vishwak Sen.
With the rise in COVID-19 cases, once again the film business has been affected, as the government has shut down many theatres to curtail the further spread of COVID-19. The much-awaited movie, RRR has been pushed ahead for an indefinite period, it was scheduled to release on January 7, 2022.
